Established in 1977, Dudhwa National Park covers dense Terai grasslands, marshes, and sal forests. It became a Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger in 1988 and is also part of the larger Dudhwa Tiger Reserve ecosystem.

Kumbhalgarh Fort was built in the 15th century (around 1443–1458 CE) by Rana Kumbha, the ruler of Mewar. Strategically located in the Aravalli Hills, the fort stands at an elevation of about 1,100 meters above sea level, making it nearly impregnable in its time.

Sariska Tiger Reserve was established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and later declared a Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger in 1978. It covers around 880 sq. km of dry deciduous forests, grasslands, rocky hills, and seasonal rivers.

Lake Pichola was created in 1362 AD by a Banjara tribesman named Pichhu Banjara during the reign of Maharana Lakha. Later, Maharana Udai Singh II expanded it after founding Udaipur in 1559. The lake spreads over approximately 4 sq km and is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills.
